Art - Therapy
Sylvie Camier
Art as a support for care
"Art therapy is a therapeutic care approach centered on the person in their entirety (psychic, physical, spiritual and social). It is a journey to the heart of oneself, an invitation to express one's creativity without limits. Imagine painting your joys, sculpting your sorrows, or drawing your dreams. In the workshop, this secure and caring space, you are free to experiment and discover or rediscover yourself, free to explore all the facets of your personality, all your deepest emotions.
Painting, modeling, drawing, pasting... the possibilities are endless to express what is inside you. The creative process is this unique journey (to each one) that you travel through your art. There are no good or bad creations, simply expressions of your inner world. No need for knowledge or artistic gift, art therapy is the opportunity to rediscover the pleasure of creating without judgment, like a child.
"Creativity, although it is linked to intelligence and cognitive functioning, represents a dimension in its own right. It calls upon our imagination, our spirit of invention and our originality. Faced with a creative device, everyone is invited to explore their own inner resources, to express their psychological and physical state in a unique way, and thus to find their own personalized solutions."
Whether you want to manage stress, exhaustion, unhappiness, strengthen your self-confidence, whether you are going through a difficult period, depression, unemployment, separation, bereavement, illness, whether your child is having academic difficulties, or is suffering from mental disorders. behavior, faced with harassment...or simply want to relax, art therapy is a valuable tool. It accompanies you in difficult times, helps you express your emotions, find comfort, helps you develop new resources to regain your inner balance, your vital energy.
Art therapy is for everyone, regardless of age.

Art Therapy Sessions
OPENING MAY 20, 2025
Please note that Art Therapy sessions are therapeutic and do not consist of art, drawing, painting classes, etc.
Like many therapies, art therapy follows a treatment protocol that takes a certain amount of time. Obviously, the duration of the treatment is determined according to the public concerned, the pathology, the problems of the person being treated, as well as the chosen mediation. It is generally accepted that a minimum number of sessions is necessary, varying between 10 and 12 weekly sessions, for a period of three months. It should be remembered that each treatment is subject to an appropriate evaluation.

Artistic expression is a gentle behavioral therapy that can support the therapeutic journey by offering a space of freedom and creativity aimed at the blossoming of the being. However, it does not exempt in the case of a diagnosis and medical follow-up (psychologist, psychiatrist ...) for all psychological problems requiring specific treatment.
